Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee Storage (Ground & Whole Beans):
Air is a Coffee bean’s worst enemy. Store your Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee ground or whole beans in an airtight container in a cool, dark place, however, not in the refrigerator. Do not store Blue Mountain Coffee next to onions, garlic or other strongly aromatic foods. Freezing protects flavor integrity, you may freeze excess beans over longer periods of time. There is no need to thaw before grinding.

Grinding:

The fresher the grind, the more flavorful and aromatic the brew. Ground loses its integrity rapidly, so grind only the Blue Mountain Coffee beans you need for use at that time.

Water:
Use only clean cold filtered tap water or quality bottled spring water (water containing 50 - 100 parts per million of dissolved minerals is ideal). Do not use mineral water, distilled water, or tap water with odor. If you are using a manual brewer, user boiling water. This will ensure you the best cup of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.


TEMPERATURE & BREWING TIME
:
Water temperature between 195° and 200° F is ideal in the brewing the perfect cup of. Brewing time should range between 4 to 6 minutes.

Proportions:
1:1 ration : 1 table spoon of freshly ground per 1 cup measure on the coffee maker ( 1 cup = 5 ounces). For stronger brew, increase the ratio of coffee to water.

STORAGE OF Brewed Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee:
After brewing transfer, the remaining brewed Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee into a thermal container to keep coffee fresh. Should be good for 2-3 hours.
